I have the exciting opportunity of starting a music program at our brand new school that opened this year. The students, teachers, parents and community are dedicated to building a unified school culture that develops our students as a whole.
I believe that music can be a powerful tool directly impacting positive school culture.
As the music teacher, I have the privilege of every student in the school being a part of my class. Music is something we learn and experience as an entire school, together.
My Project
Help me give my wonderful students these resources to expand their knowledge of music. We will bring these children's books to life by creating musical stories with instruments that also focus on the students' reading fluency. The egg shakers will make a welcome addition to our shaker timbre instruments and are also a perfect fit for small hands. The curriculum will enhance my personal resources to create engaging and joyful lessons that reach every student. The stretchy band will be a wonderful prop to use to bring the form of classical music pieces to life. These resources equal joyful music making!
