My students need iPod touches so every child can use the Google Cardboard goggles, and they can explore the world around them without ever leaving the classroom.

My Students

Our students are a diverse group from all different ethnicities and backgrounds . Not all students are blessed with the ability to take vacations and see the differing landscapes they've studied in our unit on biomes. Many may never visit an ocean or scuba dive to explore the life beneath the waves. many may never attend medical school or operate on a body.

This project that all 7th grade teachers have been working on will give our students the ability to explore the seas, be doctors for a day, and discover new things about their world without having to leave the classroom.

My Project

The I-pod touch devices are needed to help us use our newly purchased Google Cardboard Goggles and free virtual reality apps like Expeditions. All students will be able to swim with sharks, climb Mount Everest, walk amidst the Aztec Mayan Ruins, or hang out with gorillas in The Congo. These amazing and diverse worlds that some of our students may never see will come alive with these devices! It's an exciting time to learn science!

The I-pod touches will help us create our full set of devices so ALL students have the opportunity to enjoy an alternate reality.
