Raising Pre-K Programmers With Bee-Bot!

Help me give my students an introduction to coding and programming with a Bee-Bot, as well as a super engaging cause and effect, and directional language center!

My Students

I am very blessed to work with six classrooms of three and four-year-olds! Our community is primarily low income, but full of heart! The children and parents who I have the honor of working with are top-notch!

My students love to learn and are so excited to experience new and novel tools in the classroom.

We pride ourselves in creating innovative and engaging lessons and curriculum to help our students gain excitement for, and love of, learning!

My Project

The Bee-Bot is a simple programming/coding toy that allows children to play with a cute robot while navigating it to a desired point in the room. This allows children to experiment with directional words, as well as cause and effect, all the while throwing in the added bonus of learning basic skills that will aid them in acquiring future tech skills easily.

Today's children are met with the great opportunity of entering a technologically advanced society.

I would love for my students to build a foundation for their future by sneaking learning into playtime! The Bee-Bot would be a fun, and engaging center in our pre-k classrooms.
