Raising Chicks!

Help me give my students raise their chicks after they hatch! These items will be used by our 4th graders as they observe life cycles.

My Students

I am a 4th-grade teacher in Riverview, FL. More than half of the students come from low-income families. The next science unit is on life cycles. We would love to study the life cycle of chickens as the student are fascinated by how they grow within an egg.

With this project, students will learn hands the life cycle of a chicken as they observe the needs of the chicken egg over time.

My Project

Thank you so much for the donations to get chicken eggs and incubators! Our 70 fourth graders are patiently waiting for our next science unit on life cycles where we will watch the chicks hatch.

These materials will be used to make sure the chicks are safe and healthy when hatched.

Students will observe the chicks growing for a few weeks before they are donated to a local family.

All of us are super excited for learning to come to life in our classroom and we appreciate any donations to make this possible!
