This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are truly MY KIDS. I am working for at a school where 70% of students are EL. They come from various countries. They truly have a zest for learning. They are eager to learn about anything from phonics to art. It's amazing to see how the students come in every day wanting to learn no matter what barriers they face. I would like to provide with the best learning opportunities I can give them. My students deserve this and more!

My Project

We have a great population of students who speak English as their second language. Often times, they are shy and have a hard time speaking out and engaging in classroom discussions. A Qball can help.

Students will be empowered and engaged in their learning and best of all they will be heard!

I have seen the Qball in action in other classrooms. It's fun and engaging and students learn how to project their voices This tool empowers students to know that they have a voice and to be proud of it.

The Qball can be thrown around and who doesn't like to throw things in class? Yet, it is soft and will not injure anyone. Using this tool, students will have fun and learn.
