My Students
The students in my elementary general music class enter the room each week full of excitement and anticipation. These young students come in full of wonder and ready to embrace whatever the plans for the day may be. All hoping that they will get to make noise, have fun, and maybe learn something about music along the way! Many of them come from disadvantaged homes and I want them to experience music in a ways they never thought imagined.
It is my hope that their love and appreciation of music grows each time they are with me.
Your donation would work with this goal in mind and help my students to be more successful and confident as they discover music and performance in a variety of ways. Your contributions help me give them more opportunities to succeed. Please help me make their music experience great!
My Project
The equipment and supplies I am requesting will fulfill a need at our school and be fun at the same time. There are multiple school days each year when the weather does not permit children to go outside and play. Unless the students are scheduled for gym on that day, they will not get the much needed exercise that their bodies crave.
These exercise balls, buckets, and drumsticks can be used in a rhythm workout that combines physical exercise and rhythm training into one great class experience.
Students who come into music will get a chance to work out those wiggles in a productive way and leave the class ready to focus on their studies again.
