Our school is a public school in Virginia with large classes of sixth-eighth grade students. Students come to PE class ready to participate in a variety of fitness and skill-building activities. They are excited and ready to move from the moment they enter the gymnasium.
I aim to provide a meaningful class experience through a variety of fun physical activities and sports!
During Physical Education class, students learn how to use their bodies to perform different skills while also learning about different types of fitness and exercise they can do outside of school.
I want to expose students to activities and skills they can use for a lifetime of physical activity in and around their school and community. Our Physical Education classes provide students with opportunities to move and learn in a physical setting while adapting to different challenges.
My Project
These belts will be used as team identifiers for all types of games and sports in Physical Education units! Students will be able to easily identify teammates and opponents without having to wear a stinky vest or pinnie! They are also more easily adjusted to fit students of different ages and sizes due to the velcro fastener. The nylon material will also reduce the stinky smell.
Students will love wearing these belts during competition as they are visible without inhibiting movement.
The colors can be used to divide students into 6 different teams or groups and will allow for fun and fast-paced action!
