My students are curious, creative STEAM learners and innovators! They have absolutely taken on this third year resource class at our elementary school by showing their talents for science, technology, engineering, art and math. Our STEAM program started from the ground up in September 2017 when the students walked through the door on the first day of school with excitement for what STEAM holds. We've been making steady progress in building our STEAM program for our K-5 students through generous donations.
My STEAM students are engaged through opportunities that allow for both critical thinking and imaginative thought.
They excel with design challenges, robotics and coding, and in imagining new concepts.
My Project
Through our STEAM program students are tasked with exploring and creating within the realms of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Each year I like to provide new resources that challenge my students to use critical thinking and problem solving prowess in order to show continuous growth. In addition, our county has recently established a robotics tournament for elementary students in grades 2-5. Therefore, the project materials will greatly impact and assist my students in preparing for competition.
By donating to our project, you will be providing my students the needed opportunity to delve into robotics and coding that prepare them for 21st century prospects.
