My Project

As an inner city school librarian I service a variety of students in grades preK-5 with very little district funding! My biggest goal this year is to fill our shelves in our brand new, 21st century building with favorites for all ages with enough copies to allow more than one student to enjoy each title at a time!

We made huge strides last year in filling our fiction section and this year are hoping to do the same with our seriously outdated non-fiction section!

My students across grade levels have been begging me for books to help them learn more about reptiles and amphibians as we have almost none! The ones that we do have are well loved and falling apart.

This selection of books would be a huge asset to our non-fiction section and would bring huge smiles to the faces of our students!
