My Students

I work at an elementary school in St. Augustine, Florida. This is my first year of having my own classroom. My students come in the classroom with a love of learning! They are always excited to start a new day and see what the day has to offer.

In my classroom, it's like you can see the future; you can walk in and see what these kids could be one day.

My classroom holds future doctors, paleontologists, veterinarians, police officers, teachers, dancers, and so much more!

We keep a fun and interactive environment in the classroom and treat each other with love and respect.

My Project

First grade is all about learning how to apply letter sounds and phonics chunk sounds to learn to read, and grow fluency as a reader!

Sadly, with me being a new teacher, I don't have many books in my lower levels to cater to my beginning readers!

I have a lot of kiddos that need those beginning reader books and I would love to have something that can put their hands on!

Level A-D books are the hardest and most expensive books to find. I have had gracious amounts of people that have donated to my library, but sadly all of the books that were donated are higher leveled books for the advanced first-grade readers.
