Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My third graders are so much fun! Creativity is key to a happy classroom. To have this creative aspect, we must provide students with the tools that we are given. We are able to do this with the help of our community. Our school is in a small town, but each year I'm lucky to have such unique and creative kids. My students come from all different social groups. Some have access to many types of resources outside of school and some do not. I try to incorporate as many resources and teaching strategies I can to give my students what they need to be successful!
My Project
We are a classroom full of creative kids! With that comes kids who learn at different levels and time amount. This year our main focus is practicing math and reading fluency with technology. This lets the kids work at their own pace!
Because kids work at their own pace with fluency, having chrome books and number keypads to utilize, will help my students reach their personal goals!
I am confident that my students will grow as readers and mathematicians with help from these chrome books and number keypads!
Not only will we use them on fluency, but we will also have them to help us research in our content areas. What a fun way to learn!
