My Project

I have the good fortune of being a special education teacher to 14 amazing students of multiple different cultures. As representation of diverse ability levels is on the rise, there is still a dearth of racial representation in educational materials. I would like to be able to purchase the “More than Peach” book, educators bundle, and social emotional learning book set for my students.

This will give my students art supplies in multi-racial colors, bandaids that match every skin tone and gives me access to the More than Peach online Curriculum Resource.

Representation matters and this set of classroom materials will be a good start for my classroom and will no doubt spread awareness to my entire school.
