My Project

My students come from a disadvantaged socio-economic school with quite a lot of diversity. My students are in Kindergarten and just learning the social skills they will need for the rest of their lives. It is important to teach them at an early age to be accepting of all people, especially those who are different from them.

These books will help my students learn this important lesson.

The books will help them learn at a young age the importance of diversity. They will learn that we are stronger and better together.

The books will also help them foster a greater acceptance of differences in the classroom with each other and within their community.
