My Project

Students will use the Hot Wheels sets to explore force and motion. Students will develop plans to test different variables, make predictions about how they will affect the speed and distance a car will travel, make observations, and then they will edit the designs of their track to make their cars travel faster or further as they make new discoveries. Additionally, students will use the knowledge they have gained about energy from Hot Wheels explorations to build rollercoasters to meet different challenges given to them.

Providing these materials for my students will captivate their attention and pique their curiosity in learning about potential and kinetic energy.
