Quill-We Want To Stay Healthy! We Do Not Want To Be Thirsty!
My students need juice and water in order to stay healthy. We also need cleaning wipes to keep germs away from our classroom.
Do you remember coming in from recess and gym class and being incredibly thirsty?
I teach 24 first graders in an inner city and high crime area in Pennsylvania.
We spend at least 20 minutes in line at the water fountain on a daily basis. Only a few of my students are reading at grade level. I would like them to spend more time with their studies than at the water fountain.
I am requesting that my students have healthy beverages such as cranberry juice, orange juice and water available to them. I want my students to be able to spend less time at the water fountain and more time reading and writing.
I am also requesting cleaning wipes for our classroom. I want my students to stay healthy and have fewer germs.
I think that if students are well hydrated and healthy that they will be more equipped to do the best that they can be.
Please help keep my students healthy. I feel that if my students have healthy drinks that they be able to concentrate better in their studies.
