Our students come to school each day excited and ready to learn. They are just beginning to develop their reasoning and critical thinking abilities. Kindergarten is such an important year in a student's development and future academic success.
We have 125 kindergarten students who use the kindergarten play yard.
Our students speak multiple languages and have a variety of learning styles. Our school is a California public elementary school with a great reputation. Our school is innovative in its willingness to try progressive teaching strategies and learning philosophies. We take pride in our school's collaborative work ethic. We are constantly challenging ourselves to re-evaluate our practices and look for better ways of doing things.
My Project
Many students at recess time want to play in a quiet and creative way. Some students who struggle with social issues have more success playing with table toys and engaging with peers at a calm table. Plus Plus building blocks are a great creative toy that children can use to explore construction and design ideas.
When children use Plus Plus blocks they are building small motor skills, using their imagination and engaging in logical engineering play.
