Help me give my students a full educational experience. As a virtual teacher, I want to make sure that I am able to be seen and heard by my students and be able to make every lesson interactive!
My students come from all walks of life, and truly want to go places in life. Many of them don't realize their own potential, and need a good environment that allows them to challenge themselves and work hard to achieve goals.
My students have strong personalities and big aspirations, but many don't come from situations that encourage them to do great things.
They need structure, security, and hope for their future, and they need to worry less about things and more about the impact that their education has on them.
My Project
As a teacher who is working with my students virtually, it is my goal to give my students a full experience. It is crucial that I am able to have a workspace that allows me to fully interact with my students and get to know them on a more personal level. If my students are able to connect with me and the material without distractions, they will gain a deeper understanding of the content being taught, as well as have a better educational experience overall.
It is important for my students to be able to see and hear me clearly as they learn through interactive lessons.
The webcam and the microphone will allow me to communicate with my students in a way that makes their experience closest to being in the same room with me. If they are able to see my face and hear my lessons they are more likely to be engaged. With the larger monitor, I will be able to see more of my students at one time, as well as be able to run digital lessons more easily. All of this will increase participation in my classes and get the students more excited about learning!
