How cute are my little ones? I have the opportunity to educate these young minds, and I couldn't be any more excited! My students are a part of our elementary community, being one of five Kindergarten classrooms, serving in a high-poverty area where 100% of our students receive free meals.
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not." - Dr. SeussOur school is a wonderful learning community, however, the struggle lies with providing our students with the classroom resources they deserve! Our school is a School of Mathematics, dedicated to providing students with rigorous and meaningful learning opportunities, and is continually looking for ways to enhance not only the educational experience for every child but also extending the same love and support into their daily lives beyond "these four walls". In fact, that is this Kindergarten teacher's mission, and this is where it starts. With varying skill sets, ways of learning, home environments, and access to technology, these Kindergarten kiddos are in need of nourishment through education.
Thank you for donating to my classroom as it contributes to positively impacting these little lives! It is truly appreciated!
At the beginning of the school year, headphones were provided to our students. With the wear and tear of everyday use, sadly, the quality of sound of these headphones have diminished, with some competely broke.
"I can't hear anything"- Kindergarten Students
With the daily use of our chromebooks in the ever evolving Kindergarten classroom, students utilize headphones to not only complete independent assignments, but to also join in on small group and complete assessments. Our Kindergarten students have used their first pair of headphones so frequently that many of them are no longer producing any sound or the sound is distorted. Some are even missing the protective ear covering.
With that being said, our students could greatly benefit from a set of JLab headphones that are a comfortable fit and feature a braided nylon cord to help prevent tangling and damage. These headphones even have microphones! Thank you in advance for helping to provide our students with quality sound and a 'cool' pair of headphones.
