Quality Leveled Texts for Special Education Students
Help me give my students access to quality leveled fiction and non-fiction texts that will spark their interests and give them access to content at their level.
My students are third graders who are beginning to find their love of reading. As my students continue to navigate texts and improve their reading level, they are beginning to find a love for books.
It is essential that my students who are reading below grade level be provided with high quality texts that are rich in content and sight words.
My students are reading 2 or more years below grade level and deserve to have access to resources that excite them everyday.
My Project
All students deserve to have access to quality texts that are appropriate for where they are academically. Not only does the content in third grade become more rigorous for typical learners, but it becomes almost impossible to access for students who are reading 2+ years below grade level.
These materials will be used to allow students to access grade level content and skills through texts that are leveled to meet their needs.
All students deserve to have access to quality texts that will instill a love of reading in them. When students are able to access grade level content, they feel more confident in the classroom and in turn, make incredible academic progress.
