My students need indoor recess games that are intriguing and engaging. I have selected materials that are very popular with Kindergarten students which include Magnetic Tiles, LEGO, and Building Blocks.
My Kindergarten class consists of 17 motivated, energetic and enthusiastic children who are engaged everyday to further their education. They are kind and hard working Kindergartners who love to learn! Our class is a close knit community that works collaboratively with a passion for learning to be the best they can be! We work hard everyday to continue with their educational development. With the addition these quality indoor recess and free choice center materials the students education will be positively affected.
My Project
As a first year teacher, I do not have many options for my students for when we have indoor recess or free choice centers. Students will enjoy building, using and creating with the materials I have selected. Students love to build and create with wooden blocks, magnetic tiles, and LEGO. Students will enjoy having indoor recess or free choice centers substantially more with these new materials.
The educational possibilities that are gained through meaningful play are endless!
Students develop numerous skills and ideas through building and creating with their fellow peers, while having fun. Students perform better academically when they receive a break for recess, where they can relax and spend time with their friends. When students are not able to go outside for recess, the day is very tough on them. By receiving these materials, students will have the break they need by utilizing the fun and educational benefits of having the materials you help provide.
