This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school is six grades of the most community minded scholars who are dying to have a STEM community in their building so they can explore being Scientists, Engineers, and Technologists.
Children are deserving (as all children are) of a space and a teacher who will facilitate a desire to do good, be good, and create good in our community as problem solvers.
Given the opportunity CQH scholars are full of zeal to learn and develop their problem solving skills.
My Project
STEM requires many odds and ends of materials like Magna-Tiles, rocks, pencils and pipe cleaners that make exploring, creating and investigating fun. Our list for the STEM classroom community, might seem odd, but I can't wait to show you what our scholars can do with these items, you are so graciously providing them.
Scholars in urban settings require educators that have visions of achievement that uphold the highest expectations for them.
These scholars are highly capable of being our worlds game changers, and with you generous donation, this educator can do just that with a little more ease. We are grateful for all your help with this project for the 2019-2020 Quality Hill Scholars.
