My Students

The students I teach are reluctant learners due to today's world. Some of my students are reluctant to speak out in class because they are afraid of what someone else might say or think. I would like for all of my students to become confident in themselves and I strive to teach them that everyday.

I teach at a Title I school in North Carolina where many of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students come from working class families where many of their parents work more than one job.

My Project

My students need a QBall to help develop communication skills. The QBall will provide my students with the opportunity to have quality engagement with me and the other students in class. This ball will make a tremendous difference in my classroom by allowing all students to be heard. The microphone will allow their voices to be heard and their ideas shared. A variety of learning styles will be met through the use of the QBall. Our big focus is getting our students to collaborate with one another and share their thoughts clearly and effectively.

The QBall will make learning fun and engaging while teaching my students the skills they need to communicate effectively.

Communication is key and a QBall will make that much more engaging.
