My Students

QR codes are the new and exciting way to engage and individualize with technology.

I am fortunate to work with a diverse population of students from all over the world.

These all-day K students are highly motivated and love coming to school! More than 50% of my students have a native language other than English. Technology is the key for individualizing and enhancing language in these early learners.

My Project

QR codes are cool new tools that hide treasures. With the ink, I can print Teachers Pay Teachers center games and task cards that have a hidden answer to a math or reading question. One of our new favorites is the QR codes that show online storybook videos. To view a QR we need a device like an iPad mini. Two iPads will give easy access for small groups or individuals as they check math problems, watch stories, or take an audio spelling test. Protective cases are a must for little, busy hands as they grab a seat and find a special corner to start working.

These resources will engage, individualize, and energize my early learners with technology and customized QR task cards.
