Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are incredible. They face challenges in their own lives that I struggle to understand and can't even begin to imagine having to face as a child. I strive to make my classroom a welcoming and safe place for all of my students. I want them to WANT to come to school because they know it will be fun, challenging, and rewarding.

My Project

Students need to be engaged in the classroom. They need to feel safe. They need to feel heard. Sponsoring this project will help ensure that students in my class have the ability to make their voices heard.

Students will be more engaged in lessons and will be eager to offer an answer or response as we engage in conversation together.

The Qball will make for a fun way for students to amplify their voices. It will also help students stay attentive and ready to take their turn with the Qball.

Every student needs to opportunity to have their voice heard.
