My students are eager to create and collaborate! It is my goal to be sure all of their learning tools are in good working condition and provide them with a creative environment to blossom. My students like to try new things in the classroom and are excited when we step out of what most picture to be the norm. Completing work is an easy task for my students when they are given both the proper tools and environment. They are hard workers and enjoy the flexibility in the classroom. Often, I am in awe of the creativity and thought put into not only their final product but also their work leading up to the completion of that product. My students also love a good challenge and competition.

My Project
My students love playing games and challenging themselves to solving puzzles. This year our students were allowed to choose their interest group for character education and my students chose to be in the puzzles and games club. We have a few great games already but would love to expand our collection. Jigsaw puzzles have made a major comeback with my students and some are finding time in their day to come and work on puzzles with any spare time they have. These puzzles are bringing together students who normally do not work together and create new social groups for my students.
Puzzles are an important educational learning tool for young children as they provide many skills and mental learning benefits and opportunities.
Completing a puzzle, gives students a sense of accomplishment along with teaching patience and persistence. The puzzles and games will enhance social skills and learning how to win and lose graciously.
