Putting the Technology in STEM
My students need Chromebooks to assist them in their STEM projects.
My students are from a rural area where most come from low-income households. Our student population is diverse with approximately 70% receiving free or reduced rate lunch. Many don't have access to technology at home and only get the opportunity at school. A large portion of our students don't live with their natural parents, but extended family. About 1/3 of our students live on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.
Our students are bright and driven to learn, and need the opportunities that a great education can give them!
Our school believes in empowering minds and we do that by providing students with meaningful learning.
My students are fired up for anything STEM/STEAM related! They are so excited to explore the world around us. Chromebooks will be used in our classroom to support our STEM emphasis. We will use them for everything from research to presentation and design!
Our students are in a rural area where access to technology is limited.
Our classroom has just one student computer. To get the most out of the STEM experience, we need more technology. We will use Chromebooks to explore biology/medical fields, mining, government, agriculture, and coding. We will then translate that into presentation and communication. We just need more access to technology!
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
