My students need Chromebooks so they have the technology available in our classroom to research scientific topics and gather information.

My Students

My students come from a variety of different social and economic backgrounds. A majority of my students receive free lunch and come from households that are well below poverty level. They are ethnically diverse and speak a multitude of languages.

They love independent learning and problem solving.

They are great thinkers. My students always come to school eager and excited to learn with many questions to be answered. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My Project

With these new Chromebooks, my students will have the needed devices right in our biology classroom. This will save us the time of needing to visit the library. It will also allow students to accomplish more in the time we have together. It will allow us to infuse more technology into our biology and create a STEM classroom without boundaries. My students will be able to work together while becoming more computer/technology literate and completing assignments. They will also be able to integrate math through creating data charts and graphs of our findings during lab. The possibilities with having Chromebooks in our classroom are endless.
