Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love the half hour of time they get to spend hanging out and having fun together on Fridays. This block of time, known as Fun Friday, is a time for my students to relax after working hard on their academics all week. The students are able to spend time with their friends playing games, as well as cash in points that they have earned throughout the week for positive choices in the classroom. The items in my DonorsChoose project will provide my students with exciting snacks and prizes to buy from my "Treasure Box" as a reward for their awesome behavior.
