This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My Kindergarteners love to play (and I love to find ways to teach through play)! Our next adventure-physics including gravity, force & motion with balls, frisbees and cars.
My students attend a diverse, urban, public school in Georgia and come to school with very different experiences.
In this first formal year of school, I hope that all of them will learn to love school and learning. All 50 students in my grade level will benefit from these materials so the possible impact is immense!
My Project
With this project, my students would be able to experiment with 6 kick balls, 6 footballs, 2 boomerangs and 2 Frisbees. We would also have several types of cars to use on ramps and different surfaces, including buildable cars that connect with magnets! I've also asked for mesh bags for the balls and a ball pump. My students need materials that will help them experience gravity, force & motion in a very fun way!
If you want to inspire a future scientist, help by funding this project!
Kindergarten is a significant year of school in that children develop learning patterns that set the tone for all future school experiences. My students will learn to love learning and will know that others out there want them to succeed as much as I do!
