Do you remember those hands on experiments in elementary school? My students don't have enough hands on activities in our class. Most of our science is done by imagination, since we don't have the supplies that are necessary for my students to get the hands on experience.
These students love to learn and are very eager to please.
These students are required to use their imagination since I don't have the necessary tools to teach math and science. They are a fun loving group and always show me their passion for learning.
My Project
By receiving these activities and supplies, my students will be able to become young scientists. These students need hands on, real life experiences that allow them to see and understand our current science curriculum. Students will be able to understand the life cycle of butterflies and frogs. Students will also be able to understand forces in motion. My students need magnets, a life cycle kit, a forces in motion kit, a computer for a learning station, and a pencil sharpener to use during science.
By donating to this project you are giving my students the ability to physically see the reasoning behind science.
We have a great curriculum, and doing hands on activities will make our curriculum that much better. You are helping my students become young scientists.
