Help me give my students materials such as paint, paint brushes, and craft materials so my students can have age appropriate art materials in the classroom.
My students are bright learners! I teach at a Title I school where the children receive free breakfast and free lunch every single day. Many of the children come to school without enough sleep and without enough food on the table at home.
I am a kindergarten teacher, and it is my job to provide a safe learning environment for all of my students.
It's not my students' fault that there have been budget cuts in our state! I want to make sure that my students have the best materials possible.
My Project
In kindergarten, I believe that there should be a part of the day where the children have time a chance to express their creative side. We spend so much time on academics that a lot of time, we lose focus on that part of the day.
This project will allow my students to have fun and create what they want to do.
I am asking for a variety of art materials to let my students create what they want. These materials include: paint, paintbrushes, tissue paper, wiggly eyes, beads, yarn, and so much more craft materials.
I hope you believe as much as I do that art is just as important in the curriculum as reading, math, science, and social studies.
