My Students

Our inner-city high school is made of students who will be the first in their family to graduate from college. I want to give them the best experiences possible, and I want to invest in their future so they can have the very best that life has to offer.

My students are incredibly hardworking and idealistic: they understand the importance of education, and love to learn.

I absolutely love teaching this group of young people, because their enthusiasm makes teaching an absolute joy. I'm so blessed to be a part of the lives of these students!

My Project

My students can't see me in rehearsal. Elevated podiums are often used in rehearsals so that the musicians can see their directors giving them cues, instructions, and directions. Without a podium, my students have to work harder to see these cues, and it can cause confusion in our rehearsals. That's where you come in! You donation will allow us to have a podium that will aid us in future rehearsals. My students will be able to see my music direction easier, and I will be able to effectively communicate my teaching instruction to my ensemble. Help my students see me in rehearsal!
