Help me give my students ownership of their education through the use of Amazon Fire Tablets and cases during Math and ELA small group rotations.

I am a first year 1st grade teacher in an impoverished rural community. I work at a Title I public school in inner city Baton Rouge. More than half of the students at my school are performing below level and are at high-risk of meeting minimum proficiency on state assessments.
My students often do not have access to educational technology or devices at home, and the technology available in my classroom is limited and outdated.
In my classroom, I have seen a marked increase in growth and engagement when students learn and work through the use of technology. It is important to me that I create lifelong learners. My students are digital natives, doing so requires the integration of technology. My students are 21st Century learners, and student engagement soars in my classroom when I am able to integrate technology.
My students are eager to use the technology we have available in class. They are most engaged when they are learning through technology. I am unable to provide them with high-speed and user friendly devices that would benefit them the most. The computers in our classroom are limited and outdated, and many of my students get frustrated when trying to access the sites I am able to use for them. I generally present lessons to whole group with me as the leader of the lesson, but I would love a way to enable my students to lead lessons. This is something tablets would bring to our classroom.
By donating to our project, you would be providing my students with tablets that can be used during Math and ELA small groups, which would increase engagement with the course materials.
My students are genuinely eager to learn, and the opportunity to use a wider variety of learning tools will allow me to better differentiate instruction for each child's skill level.
