This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Phonics skills are the building blocks of reading and writing. These skills are an essential part of first grade and help build the foundation students need to be successful in all grades and life.

These materials will allow me to create phoneme blending boards that student can use for blending practice, word chaining, and so much more!

Each magnet will hold a phoneme and students will work as a team or independently to use them to build and change words. The markers will be used to add the letters or digraphs to each magnet and the trays will be used to hold all of the magnets. Thank you for your support!
