Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are inquisitive bilingual learners. They are learning Spanish while still improving their English language. Our little school is a one-way immersion program where they learn Spanish as their second language. My students' Spanish is a heritage language, a language spoken by grandparents or great-grandparents.
My little learners are a rambunctious group of curious, hardworking individuals.
They have so much energy. My little loves come to school every day and share their stories. Oh, boy, the stories!
My kids, like all students, deserve to have the best to learn. If my kids are excited about the learning that happens every day, it's because I match that enthusiasm for learning and teaching. Please support my classroom and the vision I have for them.
My Project
Every year it seems my students' writing becomes more and more disorganized and unreadable. I feel it is due to the type of paper that is being used in the primary grades. Our students are asked to write in notebooks that are not lined properly for neater and more legible printing.
The type of composition notebooks that are used are the most inexpensive parents can buy, but they are not the most favorable for quality work.
Please help me gather these notebooks to take the burden off parents to purchase these primary lined composition notebooks. Help me give my students proper lined paper for quality work.
