Puppy Love, a Random Act of Kindness

Help me give my students pet supplies to start our "random acts of kindness" Valentine's Day community service project.

My Project

This school year, we've focused a lot on being a good friend to others. Now, we want to take it a step further and learn how to be a good friend to our community while giving back. This Valentine's Day, we are doing a community service project for our local pet rescue shelter, and we are calling it Puppy Love. Our students will be collecting and taking donations of pet items to donate to the shelter.

I would like to start our project off for my students with different pet supplies, such as wet and dry foods, toys, blankets, and laundry detergent.

These are just some of the items most requested by the shelter that they run through quickly. We want to give back as much as we can and show our students how to be involved in their community too.

Our community is always stepping in and helping out our school and students. It is only right for us to return the favor while teaching our students kindness and compassion for others, including animals.
