My Students
From the moment my students walk in the door, they are full of life and energy as they are eager to see what new learning adventure awaits them. Our classroom is a close knit community that works hard from the moment they step into the classroom until the time they head home.
My 24 students come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, however, they all have a desire to learn and be successful.
They are vibrant and curious students who are eager to explore the world around them. Many of my students come to school not only to learn, but also to be fed, clothed, and most importantly loved.
My Project
Increased social skills, language development, reading fluency, collaboration, and team work are just a few of the skills that demonstrate what Puppet Power is all about.
These materials will help students build self-confidence while promoting creativity through performing arts.
The Big Mouth Animal Puppets and Washable Dress Up Masks will allow my students to perform their favorite stories. As students become more comfortable performing with puppets, they can transition into using props such as the Little Hands Tool Tote and Pet Vet Center along with the Reader's Theater box to add more fun to their performances. Eventually student will feel confident and empowered enough to create and perform their original productions for others.
