What makes our students special is that they are always so happy. Whenever someone is feeling down, others tend to quickly take notice and help bring them back up.
Our students' outlook on life is so uplifting that it is hard as an educator to feel down when we come to work.
As someone who has been in education for 13 years, this school really shows the meaning of "coming together."
With the pandemic shutting down or restricting parks and recreation facilities in the area, our students and families are in more need for opportunities to lead an active and healthy lifestyle than ever!
My Project
Do you love that feeling after finishing a good workout? Have you ever wanted to take your workouts to the next level? Are there times when you know you need to exercise but you JUST don't feel up to it? Well, if you answered "YES" to any of these questions, then you should consider donating to my project!
Our students LOVE to move and WANT to get better!
They just don't always have the motivation needed to get started. Funding for this project will spark that motivation and help our students get out of their comfort zone by breaking a sweat!
This project will not only reach our students during PE, but our "Before School Running Club" which is currently in the works. When students arrive at school, they will be encouraged to walk, jog and run around the field while they wait for the first bell. Having music during this time will encourage more students to take part in this fun program.
