Help me give my students a table for small groups and new stools to be used during small group time.
My students need a kidney shaped table to sit at while receiving small group instruction and stackable stools.
This year, I have 36 amazing fourth grade students. They come to school each day ready to learn and soak up new experiences. More than half of my students are learning English or speak English as a second language. Differentiating instruction is an absolute necessity, especially among a group of such diverse learners.
My students not only come to school from diverse backgrounds, but they also bring different strengths and needs to the classroom each day.
I feel that as their teacher, I am not only responsible for developing the minds of my students, but I also must be a role model for a healthy lifestyle.
My students are eager to learn and are constantly looking for a challenge. I would love the opportunity to provide my students with materials that will engage both their minds and bodies so they can reach their full potential in the classroom. They will be grateful for your support.
My Project
My students need a new table to use during small group instruction. Currently, we have two tables that I have pushed together, but one is wobbly and a constant distraction.
A new table for guided reading and math groups would greatly impact our classroom!
Currently, we have two small tables that are pushed together, but if we received this table I would be able to work with larger groups. This would help ALL of my students receive the targeted instruction they need, especially in a large class. If this project is funded, it would help my students to master necessary skills.
