My Art Students love attending Art Class! They are enthusiastic about creating and exploring different types or art and mediums. I love giving them the opportunity to be creative, use their imagination and create a masterpiece.
My students have been through a lot this year with Hurricane Harvey and Art Class gives them an opportunity to learn and create.
Due to the storm, our school is only able to attend school for half a day at our High School campus 15 minutes away. We will be sharing classrooms and materials with the high school all year, due to the amount of water in our Middle School campus.

My Project
Since Hurricane Harvey destroyed all the furniture in our school, my classroom is still in need of chairs, supplies and a printer. Through previous donors we've already received tables but now really need chairs for my students. We also need a printer in the classroom for various projects and contests.
In the coming months our students and staff will relocate to portable buildings as reconstruction continues on our school.
Anything we can do to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for our students will help make this transition easier for everyone. Thank you for considering investing in my students!
