I’m teaching an amazing group of fourth graders. I taught them in first grade and have been in constant communication through the last few years. Many of them are MLL and have IEPS, but I am excited to start teaching on day one with already having an understanding of who they are personally and academically.
My Project
This year I’ve spent hundreds of dollars buying resources. Teachers created resources have been the best because I can search for exactly what I need by grade, subject, standard, activity and price. These features save me hours of work and allow me to provide my students with precise activities as they need them with a moments notice. Many can be linked digitally to my online classroom. Additionally the books purchased will most likely go to the classroom read aloud library. Much of this year will be spent increasing their speaking and listening capacity as well as their love of reading.
