My Students

I work with a dynamic group of 25 wonderful students. They are an energetic, compassionate, and respectful group. We have many diverse learners who come to our room with a variety of backgrounds, including students with learning disabilities.

We work hard to build a classroom community that honors and celebrates our differences and recognizes we all learn in our own, unique way.

Every day, students are eager to learn and put forth their best effort into every task I place in front of them. I know one day, they will be great members and contributors to their communities!

My Project

In our classroom, we recognize and respect everyone learns in their own way. Having a choice of what kind of chair each student can use throughout the day will increase students' focus and motivation to do their best. The jellyfish chairs will be just one choice students will have to use when they enter our learning environment.

By donating to our flexible seating project, you will help provide an opportunity for students to have a choice in their learning environment.

Through these choices, they can take responsibility for their own learning and continue to grow as learners. My students will truly enjoy these new seats as an addition to our classroom. Thanks!
