My Students

My students are my family away from my family. I am lucky enough to spend my day with 21 kind, respectful and helpful 8 and 9 year old kids. We sing and we dance and most importantly we learn.

My students have a strong desire to want to learn more constantly.

They ask questions and recommend units of study that interest them. I work hard in order to live up to their expectations and provide them with all of the answers, but sometimes I fall short. With today's technology, keeping up with my students needs can be just a voice command away.

My Project

The Echo will provide great motivation for my students. Throughout every school day we use music to help us stay motivated and learn. As a teacher, it takes time out of the day to stop and play the desired or song each time. With the Echo, a student or I could give a simple voice command and our desired song or motivational phrases could be played instantly flowing into our regular routine.

The Echo will help students discover the world around them as they become curious.

Curious minds want to know! The boys and girls are filled with wonder and always want to ask about the world. With the Echo, students can simply ask a question and be given a quick response from an online encyclopedia. They will be able to use the Echo daily in class for research.

The Echo can help the boys and girls stay organized. Echo will keep up with dates and to do lists for the class and students. With simple commands dates can be added to calendars and to do items can be added to a list.

The Echo will help the students learn, stay motivated and organized!
