My Students

My students are first- and second-year Spanish and French students. They are fun, creative, hard-working, motivated, great artists, great readers, and fantastic language students.

We share snacks with each other to make sure that we are not hungry when it is time to learn French.

We do a lot of discussions in French and Spanish in class, creating characters together and sending them on adventures, writing together, listening to traditional tales, discussing our lives and the calendar and weather. We also do a lot of reading!

My Project

We want to be sure that all the students in class can have a snack during snack time. We eat during the first few minutes of class while we talk about the day and what we are doing. And not everyone can afford to buy snacks! We want extras so everyone can have one. We want protein because it is "brain food" and we want to make sure we can focus and learn our best. It is also fun to eat together and it makes our class more fun. We just want to include everyone in the snack time and t will be even more fun! Sometimes Ms. Hargaden shares her own food but she can't afford that all the time. She is a teacher, not a CEO!
