Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Coming back to in-person teaching after a few years of instability has certainly had its difficulties, but I am so proud of my wonderful first graders for how they've handled it! Having never had traditional schooling because of the pandemic, these students are really persevering and doing their very best!
The amount of awesomeness I have seen in just these first few weeks back in school has really impressed me.
These students are so excited just to be at school and they remind me each and every day how special each day is.
This small class of beautiful 1st graders has made me so proud to be a teacher.
My Project
Online schooling has sure taught us all a lot about what education means. One of the things I learned was how amazing technology can be! Since coming back to in-person learning, I've been using many of the online platforms to make learning more engaging.
Platforms like Nearpod, Flocabulary, and ReadWorks have really made a difference in my students' engagement and excitement for learning!
With these iPad cases, I will be able to provide each student with the opportunity to engage with technology more deeply.
The iPads will stay protected so that they can last many years and give joy and learning to the many students who come my way!
