Protecting the Floors

My students need 1 floor mat for our concrete floors and 4 sets of wheel caster cups to prevent our tables from moving.

My Students

My students are energetic, academic students who love to cook and help the school. They are eager to use technology in the classroom to help make their lives easier. The students love to take skills they learn from core classes and apply them to real-life projects posed to them in my classroom. The students are very creative and enjoy using problem-solving skills to create new food items and crafting items. Applying skills with technology and hands-on activities makes learning come to life!

My Project

For this project, I am requesting wheel caster cups that will help prevent our tables we just received from moving all around on the floor. These anti-skid cups will allow us to put the wheels of the table in them and help prevent the tables from sliding all around.

I am also requesting an anti-fatigue floor mat that we will be able to use in one of the kitchens.

I eventually would like to get them for each of our kitchens in our classroom. Our classroom has concrete floors and while we completing our cooking labs, the floor can hurt our backs. I would like to help prevent that with this cushioned floor mat that will be more comfortable to stand on while in our labs.
