This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Through the course of a day, I teach approximately one hundred seventy little mathematicians. All of my classes are inclusive of students with and without learning disabilities who are currently 2 - 3 grade levels behind where they should be. Despite this lack of math proficiency, my students try their best and give me their all each and every day.
Our school is a Title I school which means that many of my students live in high poverty and may not have the resources for educational purposes inside and outside of school.
All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch every day.
My Project
My students received a donation of five Samsung Galaxy Tablets to assist them with connecting and interacting with the lessons I teach. These tablets will also allow my students to connect to apps and programs that will improve their math levels to proficiency. Now we need to protect our tablets and keep them safe from harm.
My students need heavy these requested Samsung Galaxy protective cases to protect our Galaxy tablets from day to day wear and tear.
We use technology often in my classroom and through the course of the day, I teach approximately one hundred seventy students. Anything can happen when you are a middle school kid.......and accidents will happen. Protective cases will prevent damage or breakage due to accidents. We also need a charging station for our tablets. The Fleck charging station will allow for our tablets to be charged simultaneously in one spot.
Our Samsung Galaxy tablets will allow my students the opportunity to increase their digital communication skills and improve their math proficiency through the use of district provided educational software. These protective cases will ensure that the tablets are around for years to come.
