My student musicians are fearless! They are willing to try new things every day. We laugh, we sing, we cry, we dance - we express music with our whole selves! My students come from many backgrounds and nationalities, but our common language is music. We have celebrated holidays with music, and we have honored the memories of classmates and faculty members who have been taken from us too soon.
We love to explore all types of music.
We've sung the national anthem at a hockey game, we've sung show tunes and pop music, gospel and spirituals, classical music and holiday music. Our music classroom is a safe room for students with any level of ability to be able to experiment, perform, and find their inner musician.
We need quality music folders to keep our music from getting lost or torn. Much of our music has lasted a long time. We want to take great care of the music we have. When we visit other schools, we want to be able to display our school name with pride! A quality music folder can do both for us!
My Project
Our middle school is growing in every way possible. We are expanding our vision as a STEAM school that supports the arts as one of the ways children learn. We are a Title 1 school, so we treasure everything we have, and we want to take care of our music and supplies.
We need 28 music folders that are sturdy enough to protect our music on a daily basis, and that will look good on stage when we perform in public.
We will be proud of our folios in public, and thankful for them each day we practice as well!
