My Students

We have received a grant for 8 iPads to be used by students. However, we cannot use them until we get cases to protect them.

My school is a public school located in rural northwest Mississippi.

We have approximately 700 students in grades 6-8. My students love using technology, especially the iPads. They are eager to learn, but get bored easily. Using the iPads would help make learning more fun!

My Project

The resources I am requesting are Griffin Survivor cases and styluses. The Griffin Survivor case is designed to protect the iPad from extreme conditions like dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration and a host of other environmental factors. All of these are conditions that may be faced in the science classroom.

Using the iPads will allow the students to be more actively engaged than if they were simply sitting listening to a lecture.

They will be able to conduct research, watch videos, and create their own presentations using the iPads.
