Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our schools music program is growing and we are trying to become the best musicians that we can be; but we need the proper materials to be successful and move forward. I would like my students to excel and to be proficient in playing their instruments.

Our school is nine years old.

As a school we are growing and creating a new and improved image. Our student community is always thriving for excellence and growth. My biggest challenge for growth at this time is having the learning tools for their instruments that will improve the ensemble.

My Project

By having these shoulder rests as a part of their instruments, the students will be able to properly play their instruments by improving their technique by having proper posture and tone. As my students are performing, one of the areas we lack is having proper posture at all times and playing with a good tone with being in tune.

By receiving donations, it will help with improving and will ensure growth of our music department.

As our school is improving, the Instrumental Music Program can not fall behind. Our students need the best and to have life long experiences that they can look back on and really appreciate.
